What can we learn from Kids?
Being a father of 2, I can proudly say that I get to learn new lessons from my kids. My 1st kid (2-year-old) amazes me by his will to get what he needs. As a parent, we do understand it might not be the best. But certain times, we have to let him go by what he needs. It will make him understand how the option works out for him.
Alternate Solution:
When we say no, he finds out an alternate way to reach out to “The Target”. As a recruiter, when we try to source/ recruit a candidate & when we fail to succeed, we have to find out a new technique or have an alternate solution to reach our goal.
Curiosity:
He tries to learn new words/ new things almost daily. He keeps repeating it until he memorizes/ learns & after a gap he tries to recollect so that he doesn't forget. He has so many questions in his small mind. We often get tired to respond to our kids. But we also have to understand-
"The one who learns will have too many questions".
He is curious to know how a bike starts, why is there a red button, why do we have to stand in a "Red Signal", why do we have to wash our hands when they get dirty (I can write a book on my kid's "WHYs"). In recruitment industry, we get to see a lot of new technologies. We have to understand how those technologies work in the real time. Least we can do is ask a tech-guy how he works on that particular technology & the process he/she follows.
Success/ Failure:
He never seems to get tired of failures. He tries to accomplish his goal even though he has fallen down a number of times. All that little mind keeps thinking is how to reach the goal. But, when he succeeds, he calls out all the family members to showcase his achievement. If you are into Recruiting, you'd know how the process works. We have to work until we have filled the position. We get too tired of failures.
"Success is BEYOND failure."
NOTE: This is my 1st ever personal thought I'm sharing through a blog. Grammar/ Content critics, please apologize for the mistakes. I am a beginner ;)
