What can we learn from athletes?
… we can learn to improve our mental strength, to manage stress and anxiety.
They, as humans that they are, also fall. But they know how to get up; they have learned it.
We can learn a lot from Olympians and any elite athlete and apply it to perform better in our businesses.
New times deserve new attitudes. New ways of doing things. Now what you do is not enough; for these recent times at gas stations, these are some keys that you can review today:
LEADERSHIP. When there is chaos, we are required to be precise, we think we understand, but we don't understand and teach it that way.
For example: Ask your team this question: What is leadership? In their response, is leadership alluding to motivational issues? Do they refer to you as a motivational leader?
If the answer is affirmative, you will always have the burden of motivating and when you don't, the team will not feel led.
The entire staff at a service station cries out for leadership! The word leader means route and seeker, who looks for the course. The essence of the word is that leaders look for the way, observe the best alternative and show the way.
Being a leader is giving clarity and vision.
Remember the scene in the avenger movie where aliens are about to attack the earth, and the heroes are gathered; at that moment, they all look at Captain America and ask him what they do.
Captain America is not the strongest; he is not a god like Thor and does not fly or launch missiles like Ironman, but he is clear about what to do and how to do it. You do not always have to be the strongest, but you should always have the best clarity.
Leadership is a critical attitude in the new economy.

RESILIENCE. not abdicate
Mike Tyson once said, "everyone has a plan until they punch you in the mouth," things won't always work out, and our plan won't always be the best, but we must always follow through.
APPROACH. With clarity of objectives and goals, with focus, we can have tremendous results.
We don't have time to waste and must have stability in our results.
LEARNING. Adapt and grow. The human brain is constantly learning and is capable of always learning.
From each challenge or problem, we can find a solution, learn, and be responsible for our success and failure.
If we do not have the results we want, perhaps because we are looking for the answer outside when it is up to us to master the art of learning.
In times of change, those open to learning will take over the future, while those who believe they already know everything are prepared for a world that no longer exists.
Are you ready or willing to learn what comes next?
