What Can a Franchise do For You?

When I have my initial conversations with people and explain what I do, they'll often ask me if I have a list of franchise companies for them to review.
Many of the brands that we work with are listed on the FranNet website, but I challenge them on that question because generally 90% or more of the clients that I help buy a business would never have chosen that business from a list. They’re often surprised at the opportunities that I present to them.?
Thinking Less About What the Business Does
What's important to understand about my work is that I want my clients to think about what they want the business to do for them, and less about what the business does.?
If you’re looking at a list, what are you going to be thinking about? You might think you don’t want to be in the automotive space or you don’t want to own a hair salon or a childcare center. I encourage my clients to think more about what hours will be required, what type of employees they’ll need, and how much money they want and need to earn from that business.
Accomplishing Your Goals
Those are all things that you're going to find out as you start talking to the franchisor and franchisees. I want to caution you about just picking things from a list, because that may not be the best opportunity to help you accomplish your lifestyle and financial goals.?
If you’d like to learn more about franchise ownership, I’d be happy to have a conversation with you and share our process. Let's schedule a call.

5 个月Great share, Sara Waskow. I love when our clients share the business they're in and love is not one they would have ever picked from a list. It's important to peel the onion and really get to understand how a business can help you achieve your goals.
