First, you should check the guiding wheels. The guiding wheels are consumable parts, but they typically last 3 to 9 months, depending on the frequency of use. How do you check the wheels?

1. Check the condition of the polyurethane. The rubber (polyurethane) coating on the guiding wheels will gradually wear down as the diamond wire cuts through the workpiece. Once the rubber is completely worn, the diamond wire will start to vibrate. You can check the depth of the wire groove to see it it has become deeper, indicating the need for replacement.
2. Accumulated cutting waste in the wire groove can also cause the diamond wire to vibrate. It is recommended to clean the wire grooves with a small brush on a weekly or daily basis, depending on the material being cut and its tendency to agglomerate.

If the wheel groove-related issues have been resolved, but the vibration persists, you should focus on wheel alignment.

Ensuring that the two wheels are on the same plane is crucial to maintaining the stability of the diamond wire. You can use a straight and flat board that is longer than the distance between the two wheels to measure and verify the alignment of the two wheels.
