What Can Command Solutions ICS Do For You?

Next-Generation Incident Command Software designed by the emergency services for the emergency services.

Streamlined for Maximum Performance

Our software development steering group consisted of 12 UK Fire and Rescue Services and 1 UK Police Force. 18 months later our Incident Command Software went live to enable any organisation who subscribed to have an electronic means to facilitate effective Incident Command Compliance, aligned with the National Operational Guidance & UK joint decision-making model!

Command Solutions Incident Command Software is here to empower your responders and ensure you that from the initial contact, right through to finalising the incident report, that your journey through an incident is streamlined to provide an efficient, user-friendly experience.

No other crisis management tool on the market provides this level of assurance our software captures, the amalgamation of many careers of dedicated incident command practitioners.?

We provide a variety of modules and features through our comprehensive Incident Command Software, to guarantee you and your team are prepared to provide a coordinated response to any scale of incident, please see below for further information on each module:

Strategy

With our ICS, clearly identify the outcome of the incident, construct, and co-ordinate high-level descriptive strategies with your team, made up of colour coded priorities and plans that are defined and laid out by YOU! The order and structure of these can be edited on the fly. Think of it as a living document, customisable to your service’s needs, easy to update as the incident progresses and your priorities change!

Organisational Charts

The software allows you to create?organisational charts, laying out the active & inactive, personnel represented by tree diagrams. These diagrams can be easily edited and re-arranged through a simple drag and drop display. As per the Strategy module, the Organisation Chart is customisable to suit your services’ workforce & resource structures. Combined with our software’s API (application programming interface), the software allows you to pre-emptively equip the software’s database, with all personnel, as well as appliances & equipment you have at your disposal.

Planning Board

With the Incident Command Software (ICS), you also can create planning boards, either from scratch or by bringing in a pre-existing attachment, such as a photo of a building OR by screen grabbing from the mapping module and aerial view of your incident location. The planning board suite comes equip with all the necessary annotation tools, ability to add shapes, text as well as freely draw over the top of the planning instance.

Map

With the integrated Google Maps features, our ICS platform provides your team the tools to plan more in-depth, with the ability to highlight and view specific locations and bring in additional resources to your planning boards, such as screenshots of street views for you and your team to annotate over.

Offline Capability

Command Solutions ICS is designed with offline functionalities at its core. If your command unit, responders, or external agencies lose internet connectivity, the software will continue to run and perform all its available actions (excl. downloading of new mapping tiles).

All data compiled whilst offline is published back for all other users involved once the connection has returned.

Analytical Risk Assessments (ARA)

ARA are at of the core of the information reconnaissance pipeline. Providing a more detailed analysis of the situation, using information obtained by your personnel.

These special forms capture the risks to be mitigated, and what risk reduction measures have been deployed to reduce the risk to the public and personnel participating in the incident.?These ARA are then reviewed on a regular frequency (set by your organisations incident command process) and signatures can be captured with time and date stamp of the ARA reviewer.?

All this information is provided via the ARA module, to the Incident Commander, in order to help the process of assessing the risks and risk reduction measures on the incident ground.

Decision Log

Decision logs are critical to any incident procedure, as they provide a detailed storyboard of how the incident has progressed, the effective decisions that have been made to get it up to any point in time, alongside the reasoning as to WHY those decisions were set into action.

Our ICS allows for users to log both text and video decisions enabling layers of information and evidence to be provided, to support any decision instance, decisions can even be logged whilst the end user is offline!

Both the decision log and ARA systems are robust enough to withstand any legal scrutiny, as end users cannot corrupt the logs!

Message Log

Message logs allow you to record all messages that have occurred, between you and your colleagues as well as between other emergency services, or 3rd parties participating in your incident.?Message logs are editable.

History Log

Real-time history audits are available within our ICS, all activity that has occurred in the incident, and that has been recorded in the software platform from incident start to end is displayed here, alongside what time it occurred.

This information can be displayed on a timeline, OR as in a tabular format, which can also be exported to MS Excel.

This is especially helpful when providing evidence either within your organisation, to an external partner or court of law.???????

Command Board

Command board acts as the dashboard where a subset of critical information, from all of the software modules, relating to your incident is displayed, via a dashboard widget per module. These dashboard widgets, provide an overall summary of the information from the other modules around the platform, as an incident progresses the board will become more and more populated, as you and your responders act.

The widgets can be turned on and off and laid out how each end user would like to visualise their Command dashboard.

Casualty Management

We know casualty management, care and first aid are integral parts of the emergency services’ responsibilities, often working closely with pre-hospital medical staff in their aim to save lives.

That’s why our ICS enables the use of streamlined yet thorough casualty recording, having the ability to batch generate casualty log instances and monitor the status of the casualties in real-time, ensuring effective tracking and reliable management of public and respondent safety alike.

Share

With our instant capture & ‘Share’ feature, you can produce a screenshot of the screen that you are currently viewing and can reproduce and forward the screenshot to any external partners or parties involved with the incident via email.?

This timely communication proves especially helpful if you’re wishing to produce and provide any additional evidence for the incident case, this feature is available to use on any section of the platform.

Time Shuttle

With our unique ‘Time Shuttle’ feature, you can ‘rewind’ ?an incident at any point as the incident progresses. Sliding between save points along the timeline and loading the screen you are currently looking at with the information that was available at that particular instance.

Incredibly useful during incident handovers, or for when personnel change hands, information can then be reviewed when looking for points of critical decision making, and the viability of the plans laid out.

Application programming interface (API)

With Command Solutions ICS, we can configure our API to enable effective communication with other software systems in your enterprise! Data can be brought over and imported such as control room MOBS, CAD, AVLS – This mission critical information can be prepopulated in an incident, streamlining your workforces experience, avoiding duplication of effort, and maintaining data integrity!?Examples of other integrations include, personnel role assignments in the resources on our organisation chart builder, or the ability to have your vehicles displayed automatically on Google Maps.

Powerful Admin - Highly Configurable Platform

Our ICS is designed to come highly configurable out of the gate with the aim at maximising information generation, minimising incident response time, and overall raising the efficiency of you and your workforce.

Benefits of this include, managing the content of drop-down lists, changing the labels at each tier of the strategy, custom role and equipment lists, as well as limiting access of features for specific members of the team or for guest viewers to enforce your incident command business process.

‘High Rise’ Critical Instruction Management

Using our latest ‘High Rise’ feature you have the ability to plot out a tall structure, listing it’s floors both above and below ground. Using this as a basis to create an active graph indicating which floors if any are presently at risk.

Alongside this is the ability to mark down any and all civilian contact made during the incident process as well as any advice given to the aforementioned civilian such as to evacuate the building or if they have already self-evacuated.

Transparent Pricing

At Command Solutions we believe good communication and trust is the key foundation of any working relationship, that is why we make you aware of the price of all our software right from the start! Unlike our competitors, we hide nothing as we think this is no way to operate in modern business. No hidden costs, no custom-tailored fees to try to take a blind side to your company’s procurement team – one simple fee of £25k per organisation per annum!
