Build-:

  1. It is the piece of the code which is compile and composed in the form of application.
  2. The build may consist of all the features of the application and part of the application.
  3. Each build is not a release ,but each release is one one build.

The final stable build which is handed over to the customer is know as release

Control Version Tool ( CVT ) -:

  1. It is the secure tool to store the code which is written by the developer
  2. Each developer write they code on the assigned module and push it into the control version tool.
  3. The back up of the code can be taken from the CVT
