What breaks your heart?
You know what breaks my heart? When someone abuses a child. I can stomach just about any gruesome scene you toss in front of me but even hearing about a child being abused makes me sick. Even writing this makes my stomach uneasy. So while that pains me I know I would never be able to be in the trenches, but thankfully there is someone fighting for those kids. Sunlight Children's Advocacy and Rights Foundation provides resources and facilities that support and protect abused and neglected children and their families. https://www.scarfks.org/ While we may not always have the cash resources to support those doing something so amazing we do have our time and talents. You too are needed. I want to spend a little time thanking the rest of those on this list that also gave their time and talent to this great organization.

5 年What you have listed below is a team of individuals that selflessly gave their time and talents, because each and every one of them believe in our mission, and wanted to help push this mission forward. Not for themselves, but for the children that are served every day in their time of ultimate struggle and trauma. This dream of expansion was just that, until a group of businesses helped to make that a reality. Giving, in any form, is a piece of a much bigger puzzle that helps to save a child. It may save them from an abusive situation, a lifetime of abuse, or even suicide. Saving lives starts with all of us, and I can't thank this team and everyone that had a hand in helping us grow and be an even better version of who we are as an organization.
