What is a brand identity?
No, it has nothing to do with cattle. A company's brand identity is how that business wants to be perceived by consumers. The components of the brand can include things like the name, logo, tone, tagline, typeface, etc.
What is a brand mark?
Again, drop the branding iron. (Those things are hot!) The brand mark is a design element, such as a symbol (e.g., Nike swoosh ), logo (e.g., Yahoo! graphic), a character (e.g., Keebler elves) or even a sound (e.g., Intel inside sound), that provides visual or auditory recognition for the product.
