What is a Blog?

What is a Blog?

This is one of the first questions I get from people, "What the heck is a blog, and why do I need one?" Simply put, blogs are having a one-on-one coffee with your clients, except in print and online. Here's why:

  • Blogs are written in a conversational style.
  • There can be a back-and-forth between you and your audience.
  • Blogs aren't advertisements. They focus on your customers, needs, wants, or problems.
  • They are a easy way to inform clients about services, products, company core values, and ethics.

TIP

Use stories within your blog (real or imagined) to connect on a more personal level with your clients. It's up to you to involve them emotionally so that they will go from "I'd like to have" to "I need to have now."

The first one is great. Getting people involved in what affects them is the key to a good conversation. After that happens, you can take it to where you want to go but not before.

Dear Robyn Kellog "What's my story?" You ask. "It begins in the Primodiral Universe a.k.a. P.U. when the elements had such names as on the Primordial Elemetary Table... Goop to the Left and Phyre to the right, those were the First Mahagick Elements. There are other elements such as Zilohertz, creating by Unique Crystals, not to be confused regular crystals. Zarbon breaksdowns and decays into Carbon. Evergreenisum is the element that destroys Phyre and Phyre not is not to be confused with ordinary Fire. The Primodial Universe was comprised of Grabatoms and Dumbatoms and Rubberatoms. So, there, Robyn, that's the thumbnail sketch of the Primordial Universe and I am sticking to my story. the end Sincerely, Clayton Crawford... Author CJ Silverstar History 101 and recently published -10- weeks ago, Street Surgeons on Amazon and Barnes and Nobel.
