What is Blindspot?

A subject that you find very difficult to understand at all, sometimes because you are not willing to try.

Sometimes we can't see the issues which are effecting the Company or we don't want to look into details or involve ourselves in the problems, because we think everything is going on fine or we have got used to it. Sometime we think this is only way, as we are not aware of new tools or more technologies.

How do we as business leaders avoid the blind spot? There is no formula. However, taking steps to get out of our personal comfort zones is a good place to start. It expands our horizons and shrinks our blind spots by developing a greater awareness of other ways of thinking and doing things. Some simple suggestions may include:

  • Drive a different route to work for a month
  • Talk to somebody new every day
  • Ask for help to simplify your work
  • Leave your comfort zone

There are lots of minor things you can use to eliminate the Blind-spots from your business which can improve the long term growth of your Organization. There are some simple activities you can do to achieve this goal:

  • Divide your work in small task and assign them to your Employees properly.
  • Study your work and create simplest workflow and ask every employee to work on the same flow.
  • Reporting should be done weekly or monthly without any delay.
  • Follow-up should be done properly for any assigned job.
  • Ask every employee for suggestion to change in process they are following.
  • Analyze all reasons of delay.
"But the question is,
can all this be possible manually?"

The answer depends on the organization's size. Sometime it is possible to manage all this manually if size of organization in not so big, but you can never manage these manually in the large organization. In a large organization this can be possible only with the help of TOOLS that can provide you more flexibility in your workflow and provide you automation of process.

Some TOOLS can manage all this for you. Even you can make activities task as per your workflow and you can also assign them to any employee. By tracking your assigned task and finding reasons for delays you can tag them and work towards removing them from your organization, which will be a big step for success.
