How Clearing Mental Clutter Leads to Breakthroughs in Business & Life
Story time:
A visionary client, juggling multiple businesses, came to me feeling completely stuck—overthinking, exhausted by decisions, and unsure of her next move. Thye wanted to figure out how to create quick cash flow. They had recently built a startup, but it would take years to take off. As a creative, she didn’t lack ideas—they had an overwhelming list of possibilities and had already tested several partnerships. But none provided the quick income they needed.
They couldn’t decide on a direction. Every path felt overwhelming. Every idea I suggested was shut down before I could even finish my sentence.
A day job or freelance project? Absolutely out of the question.
Since it was our first session, I slowed everything down—despite her urgency for quick solutions. But a stressed, frantic mind doesn’t lead to great ideas. Creativity doesn’t flow when panic is in charge.
So I kept asking questions. We explored their skills, career experience, clients, past projects, and unique genius. As I zoomed out, I saw the bigger picture—and their true gift. We uncovered incredible ideas, but they were all long-term.
Then we got to the immediate question: what could she do right now to generate income?
The real problem was the frantic, distracted mind—too many projects and ideas, challenges in personal life, were pulling them in different directions and not able to see what kind of action could work. Unconsciously the stress all this was causing kept them stuck- and not able to take more on their plate.
This was when the closed door in their mindset started to crack open.
We decluttered and organised the ideas, pushed some of them to the backburner and made space for one high-priority project that could bring in quick revenue and create momentum.
And that was the breakthrough.
They didn’t see the solution until we cleared the mental and business clutter and seeing the ideas they had were not quick fixes. Once they did, clarity followed.
After one session, their mindset and energy shifted. Instead of waiting for clarity to magically appear, they committed to exploring, testing, and making small, consistent decisions forward.
Clarity isn’t something you wait for. It’s something you create.
