What are the Best YouTube Channels and Shows for Entrepreneurs?

Sick of YouTube channels that try to sell you premium services at every opportunity they get? They seem to account for the lion’s share of the business-related channels out there, and the genuinely helpful channels are hard to find.

But they do exist, and in this guide, I’ll highlight a few of my personal favorites.

All of these channels can help you with your entrepreneurial endeavors, and that’s true whether you’re a business owner, freelancer, or other professional.

Google Small Business

The only problem with the Google Small Business channel is that it’s not very prolific. In fact, at the time of writing, it has posted just 20 or so videos in the last 6 months.

Still, there is a lot of great content available if you dig through the past videos and it’s still an active channel. What’s more, there are several sub-channels relating to different sectors, including food and fashion.

You can learn about success stories, startup tips, and more. All of the content is condensed into just 3 or 4 minutes, so you have nothing to lose.

Coffee & Commerce

Coffee & Commerce is an e-commerce show published on GaryVee’s YouTube channel. It’s a great YouTube channel in general, but this show is one of the highlights for me, and you’ll find a wealth of insightful tidbits in every 30 to 60-minute episode.

Most of the shows are hosted by Zubin Mowlavi, but Gary Vaynerchuk makes the occasional appearance, as well. I have featured on the show myself, and it was a great experience that I would happily repeat.

This Week With Sabir (#ThisWeekWithSabir)

Now for some shameless self-promotion.

I launched This Week With Sabir in early 2020 when the pandemic was taking hold and business owners everywhere were scared for their future.

In the many months since then, I have created over 35 hours of content and have hosted interviews with countless experts, including Neil Patel, the foremost expert on SEO, and Isaac Rudansky, a Google Ads guru.

The premise of the show is to provide at least $100,000 in value during each 60-minute segment. For instance, in my discussion with the founders of Magic Spoon, I quizzed them on what it takes to create a unique idea and launch a successful business from scratch. In the episode with Neil Patel, he outlined his process for creating effective SEO content and using it to push websites to the top of the search rankings.

And that’s just scratching the surface, as there are many more This Week With Sabir episodes on the way.

TED Talks

There’s a good chance you’ve already seen a TED Talk or two. Maybe you watched the famous episode with Bill Gates, who warned everyone that we’re “not ready for the next pandemic” several years before the coronavirus struck. Maybe you’ve seen Tim Urban’s episode on procrastination.

What you might not know is that there are a wealth of great business-related videos on the TED channel, as well as content that can boost your productivity and help you to get your life in order.

TED Talk videos are genuinely life-changing. You’ll learn things that you didn’t know and make changes that you didn’t think were possible. You’ll also arm yourself with enough facts to get through a lifetime of dinner parties!

Y Combinator

Y Combinator has years of content from some of the biggest names in business, including Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. It publishes videos on a regular basis and while most of them are very short, they usually answer specific questions in a clear and concise way.

If you go back a year or so, you will also find much longer videos. There is a lot of stuff to sift through and not all of it will be useful or relevant, but there are some gems here and it’s definitely worth a look.

SkillShare

SkillShare is based around a premium platform, so it will definitely try to sell you something, but it also gives away a lot of advice for free. It has hundreds of videos to explore, and you can learn about everything from breathing exercises to photography, procrastination, and business tips.

It’s a little more general and all-encompassing than the channels above (except for Ted Talks), and the videos are also quite short, but it’s?worth taking a look ?and seeing what you can discover.

Just remember that a lot of the videos serve as course intros, so they are snapshots/summaries and not complete guides.

Moz

The flashiest channels aren’t always the best ones. Sure, they have more followers and likes, but they’re often trying to sell you something, or just waste your time with buzzwords and regurgitated content.

Moz is a massively understated channel. It doesn’t have a lot of views on its recent videos and most of them feature a single presenter in front of a whiteboard, but there are some great tips here and they are provided by one of the best SEO programs on the web.

You will learn a lot about SEO, marketing, metrics, and analytics.

SEO is something that many small business owners struggle with, often throwing money at marketing agencies that massively overcharge and underdeliver. But none of that is necessary, and with a little know-how, you can manage your own SEO campaigns and see some impressive results.

Moz will give you that know-how, and they’ll do it without trying to sell you a Moz subscription at every turn.

Visit the?Moz YouTube channel ?and take a look.
