The best place to live looks different to everyone.

When my husband and I bought our first home, for example, we were in our 20s and wanted a place with lots of energy and things to do. North Buffalo, you were the best place to live for those Meehans.

Then we had our first child and started to wish for a hometown more like the ones we'd grown up in in Central New York: More yard space. More quiet. More nature around us. That led us to Elma, and it's the best place for we Meehans to be living today.?

North Buffalo and Elma are two very different communities, and they’re best places to live for different people for different reasons.?

Investment group wants all Servotronics directors replaced

An investment group continued its campaign for change at Servotronics, Inc. of Elma with a proposal to replace the entire board of directors with a new slate of nominees.?

Meanwhile, an incumbent Servotronics board member has stepped down and been replaced by a major investor.

A former Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center doctor has filed a discrimination lawsuit that accuses the hospital of retaliation tied to whistleblower reports as well as gender discrimination in relation to her compensation.
