What is The Best Diet for Fat Loss?
David Hession
I help busy professionals get in shape, by building lean muscle, losing fat and enjoying life.
This is a question I often get asked and to be completely honest there is no straight answer, that being said I've heard plenty of wrong answers.
If someone answers this question with something along the lines of: Keto, paleo, intermittent fasting, a juice diet or some other fad run away from them.
Here is the brutally honest truth, no diet in history regardless of the types of food has ever induced fat loss in the absence of a calorie deficit, Read that again if you must.
What that statement means: Regardless of the contents of your diet, weight gain and weight loss are solely based on the energy balance equation of calories in vs calories out. So if you want to lose weight/ fat you have two options, induce this calorie deficit by eating less (making calories in less than calories out) or by moving more (making calories out greater than calories in). Both cases are essentially the same but the action you take is the only difference.

5 年Eating and drinking less. You cannot out exercise a poor diet but if you do some work to burn more calories as well as putting fewer in then you will lose weight.
