What Attracts Employees Now

Generation Z has entered the workforce and by 2025 will be the majority of workers. Now with the increasing availability of remote work, what compels this generation to commit to an in-person role? Successful leaders are bringing the team together by empowering all of their employees to be their authentic selves in the workplace. Most people want to feel supported by their company and colleagues. What does the ideal workplace look like? How do employers attract quality applicants? RealREPP conducted a LinkedIn Poll on the topic. Here we will share insights based on this unique data as well as our professional experience. Leadership Opportunities

Gen Z workers want to be on a supportive team that develops leaders from within.

? create a positive experience during performance reviews by using the time to clearly define company-sponsored actions that support professional goals.

? increase effectiveness of important company missions by welcoming all unique perspectives from the team to influence the process, and

? use brainstorming sessions to encourage creative collaboration, identify new initiatives, and passionate leaders.

Flexible Workspace Of Their Own

The majority of people have experienced working from home by now, and most agree that it provides awesome flexibility, but the truth is that it can be easier to concentrate or collaborate within a dedicated workspace. The human attention span is shorter than ever before. Most people want it all-a dedicated desk, abundant meeting rooms, flexible schedules, and the ability to work from anywhere. When you are seeking in-person employees, read the room. Be sure to highlight the benefits and aesthetics of their potential workplace.

RealREPP polled our Linkedin followers on the topic. We asked:

?Social & Environmental Good

Flexibility and the ability to provide choices was very important to us as we set our sights on building the best workplace for our TEAM. We key in on culture fit which includes -- the want to be collaborative, self motivated, works well in group settings, self starter, open to feedback, willingness to help others, friendly, kind, sense of urgency and ownership, to name a few! When a potential candidate has these qualities and ultimately joins our TEAM, we feel it's fair to open up the various work environment options which allow a professional to best thrive! We offer a blend of remote, hybrid, in person work options for our professionals and still hold in person celebrations which are very much an important part of our culture! ?? ?? ?? ?
