What is Artificial General Intelligence(AGI)?

Artificial General Intelligence, or AGI, is a branch of artificial intelligence that focuses on creating machines that think like humans. Imagine a computer that can not only play chess but also cook a meal, write a poem, and learn new languages – all without being specifically programmed to do those tasks. That's the vision of AGI.

Today's AI is quite advanced, but it's specialized. It's like a master chef who can only cook one dish. No matter how delicious that dish is, the chef can't make anything else.
