What affects eggshell quality?

The pig plague not only drives up the price of meat, but also partially drives up the price of eggs this year. Egg price was close to 12RMB/kg. The difference of egg level affects the price of egg directly. The soft shell eggs, sand shell eggs cannot be sold at a high price. Therefore, it will bring great losses. In fact, the egg has poor quality and abnormal eggshell, which directly indicates that there is a problem in the current hen production, and the quality of the egg can naturally be improved by solving the problem of the hen. 

Two reasons for abnormal eggshells:

1. Lack of Calcium

As weall known that the formation process of egg needs calcium. Experienced chicken raisers will add extra stone powder, multi-dimensional, cod liver oil,etc. After the calcium supplementation, the quality of the eggshell is better, indicating that the chicken is indeed calcium-deficient. However,if eggshell problem still exist after the calcium supplementation, it means that the calcium added is wasted. In this case, to increase the calcium contentin the chicken, it is necessary to protect the liver. Normal eggs need a certain amount of calcium and phosphorus. Phosphorus can promote the absorption of calcium and oleum morrhuae can regulate the content of calcium and phosphorus. Oleum morrhuae is fat-soluble substance; it can be used by chicken only the oil is digested. Otherwise, chicken would still lack of calcium if oleum morrhuae not be absorbed.

What if the bile in chicken's body is not enough since the feed with high-energy and high fat? Lachance bile acids can help. Bile acids can stimulate the liver to secrete lots of bile. As bile's active ingredient, bile acids can promote fatemulsification, digestion and absorption. Fatty liver can be reduced because fat has been digested. Moreover, bile acids can also promote calcium absorption, increase egg production and eggshell quality.

2. Disease

Salpingitis would lead to a significant increase in thin shell eggs, malformed eggs, blood spotted eggs, and sand shell eggs. Layer is easy to produce double yellow egg inearly produce egg phase. However, the double yellow eggs are relatively large, which is easy to rupture in the fallopian tubes and cause salpingitis. To avoid salpingitis, it is important to prevent environmental infections. If the chicken falls ill during the brooding period, it will affect the development of the chick. The chicken is stunted, the viscera are damaged, the reproductive function is poor, liver damage causes insufficient egg protein synthesis and poor nutrient absorption. in this situation, liver protection is necessary. 

Bile acids can promote liver development, improve the ability of nutrients absorption, and fundamentally improve the quality of eggshells.
