If you plan on purchasing a home soon, you should know that there are other fees you’ll have to cover besides the cost of the home itself. Today I’ll go over one of the most important of these fees—the due diligence fee—as well as others to keep in mind. The due diligence fee is a non-refundable amount of money buyers pay to sellers that compensates them for taking their home off the market for however long both parties have negotiated.
