Modi claims victory in India’s election but drop in support forces him to rely on coalition partners
India's incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi will stay in power for a third five-year term…but the results were nowhere close to the landslide results he was projecting.
Perhaps, after a decade in power, there Modi fatigue is starting to set in.
Worth noting: the election in the world’s largest democracy went smoothly and is respected as legitimate by its citizens.
