What are 5 roles of a Business Coach?

If you're looking at hiring a #businesscoach, then read this article first, because today's question is, “What are 5 roles of a business coach?”

I'd like to clarify something first because I recently read an article and it said in it that today's business coaches, a lot of them are only mindset coaches. Now I would say that’s not true. We are not pseudo psychologists.

Yes, #mindset has an important component associated with accelerating a business, but they are not the key roles that I want to introduce you to today.

The number one role of a business coach is to identify opportunities and strategies.

Now, what do I mean by that?

When we want to identify opportunities, it's helping our client to look outside of the box, perhaps to look to the periphery of their current vision so that that might be where new strategies and opportunities lie.

Role Number two would be to set clear goals.

So often when we are working in a business, we are forgetting to set the goals that we want to implement for the long term and even to put action steps into place to achieve that goal.

The problem that I see with many business owners is that they are so focused on working in the business rather than also implementing the processes and steps that they need to take them further.

Which brings me to role number three and role number three is all about implementing systems and strategies. ?Again, it comes back to, so often, that we are working hard in our business that we forget that there are new technologies and new techniques that we can be implementing in our business that can make our role so much easier.

Which means that we can then focus on the creative side of things, rather than focusing on those nitty gritty day to day things.

It then brings me to role number four, which is all about discovering breakthroughs and this is where your mindset component comes in.

When we discover new breakthroughs, we are taking you outside of what you might normally think of. We're expanding your ideas, your potential, and that gives you those breakthroughs.

Remember, you only know what you know.

If you are caught in your business doing your business every single day, then how are you getting out to explore what else you could be doing?

And finally, element number five is all about giving you expert advice and feedback.

Now let's think about that for a moment because most business coaches will have some kind of experience to do with business.

Either they've worked in corporate, they've had their own business, or they've helped other businesses to achieve success.

You also receive feedback because, as you implement all of the things that we're giving you in terms of action steps, goals, getting together those systems and processes, then the feedback is going to be valuable to see how you are making progress.

It really is about your success. ?
