What 2 things made all the difference?
When I decided to make the jump from amateur to pro triathlete back in 1991 there were 2 changes to my training that made it a reality.
Circuit training (or cross fit as it's sometimes called today) and flexibility training.
In fact, without these 2 things I don't think I would have been anywhere near as successful as I was.
I would do my circuit training with a rag-tag bunch of guys and gals from a mixture of sports. There were triathletes, motorcycle racers, a squash player, cyclists, roller skaters, and more.
Among us were 3 world champions and everyone there was a "heavy hitter" in their chosen sport.
Each session would last about 90 minutes and afterward we'd all sit on the floor and swap war stories. AND stretch for about an hour.

We all took it very seriously. None of us were there just to go through the motions. The coach would direct the session, and it wasn't just a random bunch of stretches thrown together as an afterthought.
Now, you don't need to spend an hour doing stretches, but if one of your goals is to be more healthy and fit, then you need to add flexibility training to your routine.
Stretching, or flexibility training, is like the icing on the cake. You can do strength training. You can do cardiovascular training. You can do boot camps, play your sport and all sorts of other things, but when you add stretching to your routine, it takes you to a whole new level.
In fact, stretching properly takes the benefits of all your other training and magnifies them 10 times.
Not to mention; keeps you loose, supple and gives you a range of motion that keeps you free from aches, pains, and stiff joints.
If you're fed up with stiff, tight, aching muscles and joints, and would like to add stretching to your routine but aren't sure where to start or how to go about it, then I've got the perfect solution for you. No matter your age or fitness level. Click here to get loose, limber and pain free now!
