What is the #1 department in a company?

What is the #1 department in a company?

Jack Welch former CEO of GE once asked this question to all of his managers in a large conference.

HR is the driving force behind building and maintaining a great team. The team that has the best players win. Who is going to build this team? HR.

HR needs help. They need real technology to build a great organization and to maintain this organization.

I recently went to a seminar and listened to many different speakers. Topics ranged from compliance to culture. I sat in this room with about 30 HR leaders from different companies and the one thing I continued to hear, "where do I start" & "how can I leverage technology to help automate some of my tasks."

Here are four key areas technology can help:

  1. Responsibility for the employee and leadership. Reporting information and analytics is important so you can track the behaviors of your team.
  2. Inspiration to the employees. Communication is the best and most consistent manner to inspire employees.
  3. Authenticity. Authenticity needs to come across within all platforms. Do you provide succession planning for employees? Do you provide some kind of communication back to leadership?
  4. Relationships. What is the difference between generations? Millennials love communication and love to know they are doing good. How do you do that?

I specialize in bringing HR and Technology together. there are many ways HR can recruit, maintain, and elevate the performance of their employees by using technology. I hope this made sense.

"Hey let's be careful out there.."

Hello Tim, MAC Daddy told me that you were well. I just wanted to say hi and congrats on the baby boy!!! That's so cool. My baby is going to be 27 in May and she's 1 1/2 years away from being a dentist. I'm very proud of that child. Tony is still prancing. He has a room (special) upstairs with mirrors on all 4 walls. This has helped his stress tremendously. He makes a top notch dancer look dead.
