We are pleased to announce the relaunch of one of our most esteemed collections, Whale Song, this month. This collection draws inspiration from whales, the timeless composers of the ocean with their rhythmic symphonies depicted across two designs.

New colours, multiple options.?

The Whale Song collection adds two standard patterns to Milliken's carpet tile product offering: Beluga and Humpback. These designs, featuring highly textured loop and tip-sheared finishes, are inspired by the acoustic patterns of whale communications and oceanic environment where they reside.

Whether extended for a sleek look or enhanced with pixelation for improved definition, each pattern provides a distinct perspective to the flooring and integrates seamlessly with other offerings in the Milliken portfolio.

The new Whale Song palette reflects Milliken’s understanding of the sought-after design trends for 2025, offering a revitalised mix of grounding tones and fresh, nature-inspired hues that will align with the palettes for the coming year.

‘Acoustic Sounds’ and ‘Navigation’ anchor the palette with earthy warmth, setting the stage for a timeless and natural aesthetic.

‘Coral’ introduces?a soft blush that feels both delicate and modern, while greens like ‘Tundra’, ‘Moss’, ‘Algae’, ‘Kelp Forest’ and ‘Tidal Current’ connect interiors to nature, embodying the must-have inclusion of biophilic design.

For a sense of depth and tranquillity, ‘Pack Ice’, ‘Marine’ and ‘Sea Level’ offer the perfect balance of cool, moody blue-green tones, while ‘Perma Frost’ and ‘Sea Wash’ act as versatile neutrals, adding subtle sophistication.

‘Ocean Spray’ injects a vibrant ochre-yellow—a bold yet grounding accent that brings a sense of optimism and energy to any space.

Beluga

Humpback

When considering the Humpback pattern, we envision the underwater landscape as diverse as any terrestrial terrain. The ebb and flow of the Humpback design allow for a harmonious blend of scales within the pattern, balancing positive and negative spaces with grace.?
