“Whale 2014” what are you doing? (updated 22Dec2020)

I notice him few weeks ago. He started in October and he continues awakening elder virgin wallets from 2014. Well, 2014 isn’t that super old or rare, five years passed since the launch of Bitcoin network and many people were into it those days.

However, what is significant, each of those wallets hold more than 1000BTC (more than 20.000.000 at current price) and until now they were only used to collect funds, but has never transferred anything out.

At the present moment (28th November, 2020), the total value of awakened bitcoins exceeds 17K

Another interesting point is that those addresses begin with a number that keeps on incrementing. Should we expect the wallet address starting with “18” to awake in few days? To Be Continued ??

As I expected earlier, a "whale" continued to awaken his wallets. In 10 days there were transfers from 6 additional addresses for an overall amount of -6645.819776.

So at the present moment (7th December, 2020), the total value of awakened bitcoins exceeds 24K!

Also, my expectations about first characters of the wallet were correct, we can see 5 wallets starting with "18" and a latest one starting with "19"... ??

A total of 25 wallets, holding -27619.13947 BTC has been awakened and moved in October-December 2020.

Seems like that's it, there are no more wallets from 2014 holding between 1000-1200 Bitcoins. Current case can be considered closed ??
