Recovery is a slow and challenging process, whether it's health, fitness, or business recovery.?While lots of us had a great party?over the jubilee weekend, it's back to work this week, albeit still working from home for many. Life and work have?changed, and this presents an opportunity for the health and fitness industry to change to appeal to more people.

The effects of the COVID pandemic will be felt for many years after the last positive test result. One of the big business and cultural shifts has been the fast-track evolution of working from home (WFH). While many have been doing this for years, not everyone is benefitting. There are some serious repercussions on health, both physical and mental, as described by?this report in HR Magazine, which claims remote working is “as dangerous as smoking”

Latest Projects
Sales and retention workshops have helped boost memberships at Wokingham Borough Council's new?BXGFIT?boxing studio/gym. We helped improve the lead generation, follow-up, and sales processes, converting members on a 7-for-7 pass quicker than before.
Ensuring early engagement, keeping members active, encouraging referrals, and recognising and recovering absentees will improve retention and boost length of membership.
The health seekers project with?1Life?continues to gather data, offering health checks to ex-members across 4 sites. The aim is to reach out to local communities and engage with people who take an active interest in their health and build services alongside the traditional gym and group exercise offerings.
The 30-minute appointment includes body composition measurement on an InBody device, along with a coaching session to talk about lifestyle and health.
1Life instructors have been trained to deliver the measurement and coaching, and a systemised process follows-up appointments with support calls and emails.
Over 100 ex-members requested health checks on the first offering. While there was no obligation or offer to re-join, a few members did.
