(October 7, 2024) WeWorkingWomen is proud to announce the 2024 nominees for the Grand Impact Awards, the Canadian non-profit’s annual signature event celebrating the achievements of Chinese Canadian women in business, entrepreneurship and social impact. This year’s Grand Impact Awards will convene up to 300 guests at Toronto’s prestigious Palais Royale Ballroom, a historic venue nestled into the Lake Ontario waterfront.
Founded in 2015 in Toronto, Canada, WeWorkingWomen is North America’s largest community platform dedicated to overseas Chinese women’s personal and professional growth with over 100,000 subscribers. First established on the WeChat platform, WeWorkingWomen’s profiles women and their stories with the mission of sharing experiences, igniting conversation, forging community, and inspiring women to strive to realize their greatest aspirations. Each year the dozens of women profiled are considered as potential nominees for the Grand Impact Awards and an independent panel of judges comprised of local community and business leaders is appointed select the Grand Impact Award winners.
