We've Re-invented the Siren!

We've Re-invented the Siren!

I am pleased to announce that it is finally available. MiSyren is a patented system that enables first responders to broadcast a geographically targeted system to motorists who are directly ahead of you requesting them to move out of your way before you arrive.

So you might ask, what makes it better than lights and sirens, we have been using them for a long time?

For the first time ever available to the public MiSyren allows motorists to be informed from within their own car about your approach with a hands free audible, verbal alert from their speakers.

Now before you get all excited these messages are pre-recorded and will not be something you can say in the heat of the moment. As a matter of fact each department Commander or Chief can have these messages customized to reflect the image they prefer the public to hear.

I should also mention for the benefit of the officers reading this, it is not to be confused with a radar detector, it will only broadcast when you want to  warn people you are there with lights flashing.

So how does it work?

It works automatically, there is nothing different for the first responder to do ever!

It will turn itself on when you activate lights and siren and will broadcast a message as you are travelling to a call or chasing a speeder as examples. As you are driving it will allow 30 seconds notice to drivers along your path that you are approaching and what is expected as you get closer.

When you arrive at the call MiSyren will automatically switch messages to reflect this type of circumstance alerting drivers that you are potentially outside of your vehicle and to use caution as they now approach you.

Once you call is complete, MiSyren will now shut itself off again with no different input from the responder.

Okay now what is involved?

A device is wired into your emergency vehicle that is in no way tied to your dispatch system, it is totally independent allowing for your network to remain as secure as it is today.

We supply the device for a nominal fee up front and install it ourselves or you can have your local up-fitter do the install if you wish. It is quite a simple install and should not take more than 30 minutes per vehicle keeping out-of-service time to a minimum.

Once installed it will begin broadcasting each time lights and sirens are used.

How do you get started?

We are currently looking for our beach head customers (Early Adopter Departments) in both Canada and the USA.

Perhaps your department had an incident recently and would like to discuss how MiSyren may have prevented the incident. Where they have had an accident traversing traffic or had a member struck while parked at the scene.

Perhaps you belong to a department which is forward thinking when it comes to technology and how it can make your members operate in a more safe working environment.

Perhaps you belong to a department which is struggling to get to calls sooner due to traffic congestion or lack of proper yielding by the motorists.

Perhaps your department suffers from constant litigation from near misses or collisions with motorists.

Or finally perhaps your department is interested in saving on your ongoing expenses such as fuel, tires or brakes which are all a result of the constant deceleration and then impending acceleration as a result of non-yielding motorists.

If your department fits into any of these categories, you should reach out to us to see how we can reduce all of these circumstances and in most cases while your department will be funding MiSyren, you will see a decrease in monthly spending as a result.

Who should you reach out?

Any member of a department who would see these above circumstances as a concern to the well-being of your other members, or could see the financial benefit of reducing other costs should contact us.

You might be a patrol officer, a health and safety co-ordinator, an association representative, an apparatus operator who constantly struggles to get through traffic, or perhaps even a commander of a department who is concerned with all of the above situations.

How can we get more information for our department?

It is very simple, to receive more information before you speak with someone at our offices you can visit https://misyren.com/

Or if you want to start by email you can do so by emailing our CEO directly at: [email protected]

Better yet give us a call to get the quickest and most precise information:

The truth is we wish that everyone could hear the sirens and see the lights you already have and use on a daily basis, however since they put windows on vehicles they have put you at a dis-advantage by reducing the effectiveness of these devices and until now there hasn't been a viable and effective way to get a vocal message inside cars in front of your responders.

As I said at the beginning we are pleased and proud to bring MiSyren to market, the question is how soon will you use it to start informing the motorists that block your path?

Best Regards,

The MiSyren team.

Thanks for sharing Tim!! The Western folk in BC and AB are currently being brought up to speed on the technology and should develop into many community efforts.
