It's Everyone's Business!

"We've got to rock the boat. To join forces, scrap the rules...and reinvent the game."

To paraphrase an excerpt from Oprah Winfrey at the Women in the World 2019 convention.

This year The Equanimity Project (Australia) was born. A world first to reduce and relieve both Domestic Abuse and Homelessness. We were very fortunate to receive our ACNC approval and DGR status quite quickly and have been working tirelessly to prepare for the launch in early 2020. Thank you to everyone who is an important part of the planning and preparation.

So, whilst the rest of the world is talking about making reducing violence everyone’s business, The Equanimity Project? is leaning in, digging deep and establishing a framework of opportunity where resolution “becomes everyone’s business”.

Not everyone is aware, but I am Survivor of Domestic Abuse and it took many years to say it out loud.

In lieu of the launch in early 2020, we have placed our Project on the register for Giving Tuesday to raise awareness of our Project. This is the first time that Giving Tuesday is also being launched in Australia. Each year it is the 3rd of December - tomorrow, in case anyone is lost for time.

We are also now a part of Benojo's great platform for organisations wanting to make a difference.

In early 2020 we will unveil a Project that will create over 2500 safe spaces for women escaping Domestic Abuse and, at the same time, reduce the risk of homelessness for women. It is driven by collective impact and conscious communities and will be rolled out nationally.

We are seeking partners and support to prepare for the launch early next year.

If you would like to hear more about this initiative and see a full presentation, please DM us. We would love to have you and your organisation as part of our national launch early next year. You will not be disappointed.

Each of us, individually and collectively, can make a difference and change the landscape that haunts society today.

Become part of the solution and reinvent the game of life, please contact us.
