We’ve Added Two Insurance Leaders and Trailblazers to our Board of Directors

I’m very pleased to announce the addition of Sharon Ludlow and Maria Hancock to our Board of Directors. Sharon and Maria bring with them a rich and diverse experience as industry executives, technology buyers, entrepreneurs, and investors. 

As we continue to establish our position as the digital distribution platform of choice in North America it is increasingly important to add diverse voices and perspectives to our Board of Directors. Both Sharon and Maria bring a wealth of experience and are excited to begin contributing to our growth

Sharon is a seasoned C-suite insurance industry executive. She most recently served as President & CEO of Swiss Re Canada, the world’s largest reinsurer, and as President of Aviva Canada, Canada’s second-largest insurer. As well as extensive insurance industry experience, Sharon launched Kanetix, Canada’s first Insurance Aggregator, now owned by a private equity firm.

Maria joins the board with several decades of experience in the financial service and insurance industries. She is a risk management expert and former CIO ERM of AIG. Patrick Viau, our Chief Client Officer recently interviewed Maria for an episode of The Breathing Room where she used her experience in risk management to dive into the importance of human capital in financial planning.
