Wet and Windy Cycle Challenge
On Saturday I took part in the punishing Exmouth Exterminator, comprising 76 miles of energy sapping Devon undulations, all for the fantastic cause of the NSPCC.
Pete Gibbons my Chairman came along for the ride and all was going so well until the heavy showers and driving winds hit us along with an obligatory puncture at around 60 miles. Despite questioning why we dedicate our weekends to such miserable conditions on the A roads of the West Country, we both came away with smiles and eager to sign up to the next challenge!
Murray I thoroughly enjoyed the ride (well apart from the torrential rain at the end). Nice to see me at the front in the photo ! Hope the fundraising for the NSPCC goes well -glad that I could help. Looking forward to the Dartmoor Demon.
