Hello all, how have you been? Good? Great! I'm not even going to try and lie, its been a testing one! If you follow me and saw the posts, you know I've been dealing with the worst things in a collection. Short summary:

1. Computer reliability issues (Delayed projects)
2. No computer chair (Broken tilt mechanism)
3. Internet unreliability (Complete outage)
4. Drone software connectivity issues (No way to fly)
5. Personal issues (Life am I right?)

Silver Lining Pending

I owe you some positivity, it's about time! I leaned into my inner Sith last couple of entries! Today I'll channel the positive side of the force! Chair sorted, I got a new one yesterday! Internet is back online and the ombudsman service are looking into my ISP's conduct, drone test pending today, Apple has until Monday to let me know if they intend to resolve my issues. Personal life will also improve over time, the weather is nice, I'm ready to let my guard down and let things fall into place organically!

The Plan Going Forwards?

Well, quite frankly it's a year of personal development! I'm currently being mentored on multiple fronts: Business Dev, Agile Practice, and, Entertainment. 2022 is the year more than ever where I won't allow anyone to quell my main character energy! This is me, I am him! I don't care if that bothers you! As long as I can back up my talk with action, it's not bragging, not boasting and definitely not arrogance. If everyone can be their full selves, well, that includes yours truly!

Let Me Bring You In

Let me bring you in on the plan. My next few posts I am going to be sharing more about my particular journey. I don't have one of those linear careers where it was simple and straightforward. Quite the reverse; I have always had to claw and scrap for my opportunities. The reason I am sharing my origin story? It's time to put it out there, especially, so people can see my confidence comes from shooting in the gym not just looking good on game day!

This video was late 2020. I have been consistent behind the scenes even when you don't see it, I'm working, improving, learning, growing and experimenting. My journey is both documented and inspirational because things don't strictly go my way. The work is done on faith and in pursuit of better. If better doesn't come, the work must continue until it does!

The Balance is Off Currently

A lot of my time is spent putting out fires, and whilst that's not ideal, for where I go next in my career it is the ideal sandpit! I am the deepest in and yet the calmest I've been since the days when I had my own private pool inside my mother's womb LMAO!

Up early and bed late, this is the price I willingly pay to be great! Study hard and study long this is the price I pay for my subject knowledge to be strong. Smile at my best and smile when I'm in pain; this is the everyday cost of being Jay! All I know now is that the price of the brick going up!
