Sheeva.AI featured as a top-50 global mobility startup at Mobile World Congress' 4YFN program in Barcelona

After a busy January at CES 2024 in Las Vegas and at NRF's Big Show in NYC, the Sheeva.AI team's next big splash was our debut at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. We were selected as a global Top-50 startup from among hundreds of nominations for their 4YFN ("Four Years From Now") startup program.

While unfortunately we couldn't make to Barcelona in person this year, we're honored to be in such company. Smart mobility and the in-vehicle customer experience were big themes at MWC this year, just as it was at CES and NRF. We hope to make it to a future version of the world's premier mobility event.

Our founder and CEO Evgeny Klochikhin recently appeared on Growth Inflection's latest episode of their "No BS" Series, "Re-thinking Mobility: Hardware, Software and AI." Climatetech was a focus, and he discussed how important software is to integrate the customer experience with critical hardware, like EV chargers and the EVs themselves, to ensure real uptake on adoption.?

On March 13, our Director of Partnerships Trevor Curwin joins four fellow smart mobility startups at Intelligent Vehicle Brief's?latest webinar around new sustainable transport technology. Sign up here; it's free to attend.

Then you can join the Sheeva.AI India team for the CAEV Expo, March 14-15, at the KTPO in Bengaluru. Please stop by to meet the team and talk about our growing traction on in-vehicle payments and services with our partners in India.?

Automakers need to focus on a compelling mobility ecosystem: #SWDriven

Apple's fail on their connected EV program may take the pressure off of some OEMs, but automakers "still haven't been able to create a compelling, fully integrated, exciting ecosystem for mobility customers, great enough to encourage vehicle buyers to engage in updates, subscriptions and co-creation," writes Accenture's Christof Horn in his latest newsletter.?

European regulators say carmakers must bring back buttons for safety: Hagerty

European officials want more tactile, familiar interfaces for safety, but safety and in-vehicle payments can co-exist, especially if you focus first on "car-related" transactions like fueling, charging, parking, tolling, etc. where the transaction is part of operating the car.

EV makers of all kinds must find the right value-added services beyond the car itself: SBD Automotive

Research firm SBD Automotive director Alex Oyler, commenting on the news that EV "startup" Fisker may run of out money soon, says every EV maker, no matter when they were founded, needs to come to terms with the entire value proposition of owning and operating an EV for the consumer. A splashy body design is just not enough to survive, he says.
