We’re tickled pink to announce the lm group’s record results

2018 was a great year for travel as our full-year results for 2018 have revealed. The big numbers you need to know are as follows:  we generated revenues of €286.9M in our Core Business, up 14.2% compared to 2017, and Core business EBITDA of € 44.0M, up 60% versus last year.

We’re proud to have helped more than 8.5m people become a little pinker in 2018, by helping them travel and experience all the world has to offer.  To put it into our pink perspective, as a group, every 38 minutes we fill and take off a 615 seat Airbus A380.

Here’s how: we’ve done this by moving from a product-centric flight-driven model to a customer-centric holiday-driven proposition in the last three years, with our OTA business, particularly Dynamic Packaging, a key driver in the results smashing expectations.

CEO of lastminute.com, Marco Corradino, described the results and company transformation as “truly amazing. He added:

“In 2018 alone, we released several new products that helped our customers enhance their travel experiences. The great results seen in 2018 are only the first objective in a long way towards future achievements.”
