We're Saving Lifes, Right??

This is the justification behind every COVID restriction that is being imposed on society. Yet is this true? So to look at this in detail, lets look at WHO is dying.

In Canada, the average age of death from COVID is 83, which is the same as the general mortality age. Over 90% of deaths are with people who have 2, 3 or more serious existing conditions, Anyone under 60 has more chance of dying from a car accident.

Other facts to consider is that Long Term Care homes are really palliative care facilities. The average life expectancy on entering a LTC facility is just 1.6 years. That means 60% of the residents in one location die every year no matter what. Generally the residents have multiple serious medical problems and it just requires an extra medical straw to be added to their back of existing problems for death to occur. People can die from diarrhea.

Next thing is to look at the notion of protection.

This is based on the notion that somehow we can isolate or eradicate a virus of this kind, that we can completely stop a person being exposed to the virus. Covid is a virus that can mutate, that can also live in the animal population that easily travels across any kind of artificial border. There seems to be a bizarre notion that this virus and it's mutations can be eradicated. That's the only explanation of governments and the media fixation on case counts to judge the seriousness if the outbreak. Covid type viruses have been known about since 1960. We will have to deal with these virus strains for ever. The best way is to build populations that are healthy and robust. We can never protect the weak and infirm, death is only a day away.

If I had all my Covid vaccinations and I sat next to a person heavily contagious with covid, I could end up with my nasel passages and lungs coated with the virus. A swab test could show me positive with the virus yet I dont have covid at all. I could still pass on the virus to someone else. I could have covid virus on my hands and I touch a counter or I could stroke a dog, and then someone else has contact. It could be such a small contamination. I say these things to just show how ineffectual measures are. If your immune system is poor, a single virus could replicate in your lungs to be millions etc.

So are we saving lives when the weak and feeble will either die today or 6 months from now. It does not matter what measures people take, you will eventually be exposed to every kind of virus , covid or otherwise that is floating around. The notion that measures that are being taken with the general healthy public are saving lives is just nonsense. It is scare tactics of the worst kind.

So a person close to death is locked up, isolated from family and friends, given no reason to live, and is left to stare at a blank wall until it fades away. Do you think we should maybe look at virus issues in future years somewhat differently??
