We're on a Mission to Educate the World!
It’s #InternationalEducationWeek here in Canada. An opportunity to showcase and celebrate the impact of our industry on the world. There are countless reasons why I’m passionate about international education. The biggest reason I’m such a strong advocate is because of the tremendous impact it’s had on my life.?
When I was growing up in Iran, my parents stressed the importance of education to my brothers and me from a young age. And it’s true. Studying Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo changed my life. It led me to where I am today: building new ways to help students achieve their dreams and improving global access to education. Every day, I’m driven to solve the problems and hardships that I once faced as an #InternationalStudent.
The 1,300+ global employees at #ApplyBoard continue to amaze me with their passion, knowledge, dedication, and innovative ideas about the future of international education. I’m so proud of what we’ve been able to build in just over six years. We’ve helped over 200,000 students with their study abroad journeys. That’s 200,000 lives that have been changed forever.?
These last two years have been difficult. But they’ve also been inspiring to see our industry navigate the changes, barriers, and limitations that we’ve all faced throughout the pandemic. We’ve come together to support students. Institutions, recruitment professionals, and students’ families have all come together to help make our students continue along their education journey. It’s all made the industry even stronger.?
