we’re Leaving No Category Behind!
I am truly happy to be speaking at the first edition of the International Corporate Wellness Program?by Manipal Hospitals (MHEPL) . This is in line with one of the recently added categories in The Corporate Awards called, Health and Wellbeing. Over the years, the Corporate Awards have played a leading role in identifying companies making their mark in different categories. These categories include Investor in people, Gender Equality, Employer of Choice, Employee Relations, Innovation and adaptability. We strongly believe the health and well-being of company staff play a key role in enhancing productivity and the company's growth in general. This category recognises, acknowledges and rewards organisations that can demonstrate their commitment to health and wellbeing through the application of a range of programmes, which meet the needs of all staff.?
The conference will bring together key experts in different domains to drive a conversation that can help companies benchmark their policies in this section.
We all can confirm that a lot has changed and shifted in the past few years with regard to the global trends in how companies manage employee well-being. How should they react and what steps can be taken to mitigate such burnouts???

Along with mental health, the focus on physical health has also been highly incorporated into corporate programs and to tackle obesity, diabetes and heart diseases, some workplace wellness programs have promoted a healthy diet, regular exercise and other behaviours to keep health in check.?Although such have been put in place, there is still a huge challenge. Whether to focus on the Now, or make an attempt to make lifestyle changes for their employees, companies should continue to put in programs that are innovative and can incorporate time, work and lifestyle.
The Wellbeing Award recognises programmes that are established and sustained to ensure that employee physical, mental, social and financial wellbeing is protected. Promoting a holistic approach to employee management initiatives towards effective overall business performance.
