?The Role

Reporting to the Traffic Management Divisional Manager, the main focus of the role is the responsibility for the day-to-day planning of work sites around the Canterbury region.?Normally the work days will be Monday to Friday, however the role requires flexibility to work outside of normal business hours; both on nights and on weekends as and when required.

?Other responsibilities will include;

• Staff and resources allocation per day, for internal and external clients.
• Forming/fostering client relationships external & internal.
• Working alongside Traffic Management (TM) designers, to ensure that all staff and sites have the required and necessary equipment in order to meet TMP requirements and that all sites are compliant with the both the RCA requirements and CoPTTM.
• Overseeing site TM set-ups and TM delivery, by working with and alongside qualified road staff.
• Site monitoring & Auditing, for staff growth and industry compliance
• Training and mentoring staff in all aspects of Waka Kotahi Training qualifications.
• Data entry for record keeping, claims and reports.

?Key Skills & Experience ?

·??????A minimum STMS theory qualification required, showing industry awareness.

·??????Experienced on Microsoft Excel, Word and Rapid Plan

·??????Experience at leading staff

·??????The ability to communicate well at all levels

·??????A collaborative mind-set and be able to work as part of a wider team to deliver company goals.

·??????Strong time management, and ability to manage own workload.
