We are currently hiring for a Paralegal Assistant.
Salary range is $19-$24/hour.

Job Duties - Paralegal Assistant
Under direction and supervision of senior paralegal, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, such as:
- Format, edit, revise, and/or proofread legal documents and correspondence, and prepare/complete forms;
- Redact and Bates number documents;
- E-file with State and Federal court;
- Complete tasks at the courthouse, Recorder’s office, Secretary of State office, and other governmental offices as needed.
- Calendar dates and deadlines;
- Organize and maintain client’s electronic and paper files and databases;
- Upload/download records and related documents;
- Search for and extrapolate information from electronic docket sheets;
- Prepare expense reimbursements;
- Enter attorney time;
- Research and obtain information;
- Consistently follow up and communicate regularly on delegated assignments;
- Additional tasks and projects as needed;
Competencies:
- Ability to learn new concepts quickly, figure things out, and work accurately in a high-volume, fast paced environment;
- Consistently professional, level-headed, and strong customer service skills;
- Computer and Internet skills; including experience with Word and Adobe Acrobat;
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, writing, proofreading, and formatting skills;
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing;
- Ability to take ownership of projects, take initiative, and manage diverse tasks efficiently and independently;
- Knowledge of legal ethics to handle confidential information with absolute discretion;
- Strong work ethic, strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment;
- Efficiency, persistence, creativity, attention to detail;
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
