Key Skills:

We are looking for dynamic professionals who can pragmatically build, plan, and strategize to generate sales. One who has extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and the ability to identify new business leads. An outstanding business development professional will be someone who can collaborate with clients and senior leaders at major companies. In terms of impact, the role is responsible for driving long-term sales growth in various verticals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire organizations to innovate on solving problems and help accelerate the use of digital technologies.
  • Build a solid understanding of prospective customers, their needs, and challenges to ensure you are well prepared to align our services with our prospect needs.
  • Influence prospect decision-making in a manner that educates the customer and builds up their trust in our expertise.
  • Take briefs and pitch new business proposals to senior executives.
  • Promote our services and identity in trade & networking events.
  • Generate the sales pipeline via prospecting in support of our sales. Taking ownership of high volume, high-velocity pipeline generation and its progression through the sales cycle.
  • Evaluating and optimizing marketing strategies.
  • Generating new business leads. Establish and drive rigorous sales development execution while ensuring target attainment, accurate forecasts, and total transparency.
  • Own and ensure achievement of agreed sales targets for assigned regions/verticals.
  • Maintain a high win rate for qualified opportunities.
  • Devise measures to position our offerings to increase market share (to cross-sell/upsell) among the target customer segments.
  • Support closing deals through a balanced negotiation on sizing & pricing.
  • Enable & establish Global World Class Delivery.
  • Conduct regular presentations and information sessions to prospects.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required from time to time.
  • Utilize the power of social media to prospect and close deals.
  • Review and refine high-volume staffing models and approaches in partnership with business leaders. Anticipate adjustments to hiring forecasts as business trends change and leverage outside partnerships, as necessary.
  • Provide strategic partnership to business leaders to develop staffing strategies that fit their team’s individual needs and those of the business. Analyze hiring performance to inform adjustments to hiring strategies and to optimize resources and investments.
  • Maintain awareness of competitor practices, industry trends, and recruitment standards. Continually stay current on new and developing sourcing avenues.
  • Leverage and enhance technology, tools, and best practices to optimize processes and performance.
  • Own the quantitative analysis of the performance of the sales team to evolve from data and reporting to meaningful analyses and insights that provide recommendations to steer the business.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (ideally in business, administration, education, management, marketing, or sales) with the ability to grasp the complexity involved in A.I. at the business level
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, or Sales – preferably in a high-growth tech environment
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a sales leader maintaining a P&L
  • A passion for problem-solving and customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge in innovative sales/lead generation using social media marketing, SEO marketing, branding, etc
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience with various Microsoft Office technologies (Word, PPT, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Deep understanding of demand generation, inbound, and target account outbound strategies
  • Quantitative skills to make data-driven decisions and drive ongoing performance management towards goals

The ideal candidate is strategic, requires little oversight, and is independent. They are a thought leader that can work through blocker removal and innovate to develop processes and frameworks that scale with the business. They are intimately familiar with the sales motions, sales processes, and the seller behaviors and may have been an Account Executive or Sales professional in the past. They also have a developed financial acumen and a deep analytical background. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and skilled at working cross-functionally with a variety of stakeholders.
