Just a few things for you this week:

I trust y'all and am confident we will achieve this.
In doing so you're enabling us to hire our second ever full-time employee, which is really an investment in our community and scaling our impact.
So again,?thank you.
We're hiring a Community Weaver!
So, I may be a bit biased, but I think?this is a cool ass job .
We’re looking to hire someone whose overarching mission will be to:
Some more high-level info for those who are curious:
The person who gets this job will get to constantly connect with, organize, and help amazing people (like you!) who care about climate and are stepping up to do something about it.

You can?learn a lot more about the role here .
If you're really excited and believe you'd do an amazing job,?please do apply ?(would be so cool to hire someone from the community!) And if you're not interested in the role personally, please do share it with your network/anyone who you think would be a good fit!
What's up next?
We've got a webinar on Thursday, June 23rd at 1 pm ET with Michael Boswell and Adrienne Grieve who are professors at Cal Poly and co-authors of the book:?"Climate Action Planning: A Guide to Creating Low-Carbon, Resilient Communities" (you'll have the opportunity to register soon, so keep an eye out).
We've also got a webinar in the works on how to go solar (in the US) with our friends over at EnergySage. I used their platform 4 years ago to help my parents get solar - they're a free and?super?helpful agnostic marketplace that vets installers, collects and compares quotes for you, keeps your contact info safe, provides a free advisor, and really helps make the whole process much easier. If you want a head start, you can use their?solar calculator ?to see how much your house would save by going solar!
We also have a newsletter coming up on sustainable banking and investing. This space is finally starting to come alive with better options - thank goodness!
You can now have a bank that puts 100% of your deposits into climate solutions, instead of your money funding the typical mix of status quo things that often includes fossil fuels.
(Spoiler: there are multiple options but I've been using Atmos Financial for 4 months now and I'm a fan. They're climate people and are incentivizing their customers to support climate nonprofits (0.8% savings rate if you do). So we've partnered with them and get $20 whenever someone signs up through?this link . A much deeper dive on sustainable banking and investing to come!)
I don't know about you, but I'm super excited - it's going to be a big year for the Crowdsourcing Sustainability community and our climate impact!
Best,
Ryan
P.S. Crowdsourcing Sustainability is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit run by myself and 3 wonderful volunteers.?If you believe this work is valuable, please consider?investing in it ?so we can keep increasing our climate impact. Large or small, your donation is deeply appreciated!
If you're unable to comfortably give financially, liking, commenting, or sharing the newsletter with a friend also helps a lot! (email newsletter ?|?this LinkedIn newsletter )
Sign up for our main sustainability newsletter here ?to receive every newsletter I write when I write it and get access to the growing Crowdsourcing Sustainability community on slack where you can connect and collaborate with others working to reverse global warming!
Finally, if you'd like to follow Crowdsourcing Sustainability elsewhere, you can find us here:?Twitter ,?Instagram ,?YouTube ,?LinkedIn ,?Podcast ,?Website .
