Hi there :) My name is Amanda Armstrong and my life purpose is to create a ripple effect of impact globally.

I’m the Founder of Athari Career Coaching, a social enterprise (social impact business) working with thousands of women, youth, non-profits, and impact organizations globally.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, I now live in Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa).?

I was lucky to find my passion and life purpose in my early 20s when I landed my first dream job opportunities working on women’s entrepreneurship and youth programs / projects with grassroots non-profit organizations in Canada, Kenya, and Guyana.

I spent the first 10 years of my career working in 14+ dream jobs in non-profit, international development, social entrepreneurship, tech sales, and social impact.

After losing my dream job five years ago I achieved my career comeback by turning my career coaching side hustle into my full-time job.

I’m now living my true purpose in my ultimate dream job as a Social Impact Entrepreneur, Career Coach, Business Coach, Consultant and Motivational Speaker.

I’ve built a career and a life that I love filled with passion, purpose / impact, and eventually financial freedom.

I am dedicating my life and career to helping others achieve the same :)?

THE ROLE

We are looking for someone to take the lead on all things marketing. This includes strategy and management, website design and development, content creation and social media, graphic design, and more.?

You’ll be working very closely with myself to take our marketing, community engagement, and impact to the next level!

We are looking for someone who is:?

• Ambitious, hardworking, motivated, goes above and beyond
• Organized and on-the-ball with extremely strong attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial with the ability to take initiative, get things done, and ? ? work independently with minimal supervision

THE DETAILS

LOCATION: REMOTE (Canada, Kenya, or Global) *Must be able to meet before 10am EST

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Marketing - strategy, management, newsletter, creative ideas, tools, etc.
2. Social Media - LinkedIn, Instagram, Reels, graphic design, content creation, etc.
3. Special Projects - annual Impact Report, etc.?
4. Website Design & Development - Squarespace
5. Supporting the Growth & Expansion of Athari so we can impact even more women and youth - scaling coaching programs online, building passive income products / services on our website, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

For all jobs that you apply to, we encourage you to apply if you are extremely passionate about the opportunity and you have approx. 75% - 95% of the requirements. You don’t have to check every single box. No one is perfect :)

1. Extreme Passion for What We Do - social impact, women’s empowerment & career development, education, youth livelihoods, social entrepreneurship, etc.
2. At Least 2 Years of Experience working with non-profits / NGOs, social enterprises, international development or women’s empowerment organizations
3. At Least 2 Years of Experience in marketing, social media, graphic design, content creation, website development, etc. (full-time, part-time, or freelance)
4. Strong Canva Graphic Design Skills: intermediate / advanced Canva experience with extreme attention to detail
5. Strong Experience & Success with Instagram & LinkedIn
6. Strong Experience & Success with Squarespace
7. Strong DEI Experience & Knowledge

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

**While we are not in a financial position (as a small social impact business) to pay you the ideal amount we would like to pay, we offer a ton of benefits, perks, and additional compensation opportunities.

Compensation: $20CAD / hour (approx. 10 - 15 hours per month to start)?

Plus:?

• $5 / hour increase after every one year?
• 10% commission / bonus on every client / partnership that you help secure (e.g. through our website, social media, campaigns, newsletters, etc.) - this is where you can double or triple your compensation
• Free access to our coaching programs & services (valued at $5,000+)
• Free access to our online global community filled with job opportunities & consultancies, job search & career advice and resources, and 100+ women building careers and businesses with impact (valued at $75 / month)
