We’re a Digital Champion Marketing Mentor

I'm really excited to let you know that The Marketing Optimist has been accepted as a Digital Champion by the Digital Enterprise scheme.

Digital Enterprise is a partnership programme which is partly funded by the European Union (European Regional Development Fund), the West Yorkshire Combined Authority/Leeds city region Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and the 9 local authorities which form part of the Leeds city region. It is an ￡8.5 million programme, with 62% public funding and the remainder from SMEs.

We’re now an official mentor on the programme helping SME’s in the Leeds city region make the most of their marketing.

It’s easy to request marketing mentoring support for your business, just visit the Digital Enterprise site and fill in the Mentoring form.

We love helping people with their marketing

Supporting people with their marketing is a part of my job I really love. Some people love hiding behind a screen, but there’s nothing better than talking over a businesses issues over a brew. In the coming months we’re looking forward to giving businesses on the scheme a marketing boost by pointing them in the right direction and giving them marketing strategies which will make a real difference to their business.

The programme offers mentors for all kinds of digital skills. Our focus is very clear, we’ll be supporting mentees with marketing strategy, search engine optimisation, social media marketing, CRM and email marketing, paid advertising and more detailed marketing skills such as messaging and voice search.

We are huge supporters of the Digital Enterprise programme and been a registered supplier of digital marketing services since it launched. This scheme is a great example of how public money is being used to help companies in the region to develop.
