Welsh Government Release Revised Versions of Standards, Rules and Codes for Building Control

A unifying voice within the construction sector

The Welsh Government has published a Circular (WGC 005/2024) on their website, aimed at all members of the building control profession in Wales.

It contains the revised, final versions of the standards, codes and rules documents applicable across the sector and details all substantive changes that have been made.

These include:

Building Inspector Competence Framework (BICoF) Wales 2024
Code of Conduct for Registered Building Inspectors (RBI) Wales 2024
Professional Conduct Rules for Registered Building Control Approvers Wales 2024
Operational Standards Rules (OSR) Wales 2024
OSR: Monitoring Arrangements Wales; and
Strategic Context for the Regulatory Framework Wales.
