Wellvolution – One Year Anniversary

I recently shared how I am proud to be part of Blue Shield of California because of our unified belief and passion that it is time to reimagine health. Today, we announced the news that the reimagined and redesigned Wellvolution platform is marking its one-year anniversary. 

This innovative digital and community health network enables more than 23,500 Blue Shield of California members to prioritize their health and well-being. The success stories are quite remarkable, and you can read about the program outcomes here. Enrolled members have reported weight loss, a reduction in stress and the reversal in chronic conditions, such as diabetes. 

The Wellvolution platform uses decades of research and leading technology to deliver personalized support by offering nearly 60 digital apps and 30,000 brick-and-mortar community locations.

As a runner and fitness enthusiast myself, I frequently look for new ways to improve my overall health, especially during these unprecedented times. I have always been curious about the health benefits surrounding meditation but had never given it a try. Until Wellvolution suggested an app called MyLife. In the brief time I have been using it, the health benefits, such as stress reduction, are obvious to me now. I am now planning to incorporate meditation into my schedule each week and make it part of my healthy lifestyle.  

During these challenging times, I encourage employers and employees to look at how best to maximize individual health and well-being. I know Wellvolution has been one tool that has made a difference in my own life and in the lives of the thousands of Blue Shield of California members who have enrolled in the program.
