Overview:

Positive Intelligence? (PQ?,) is a powerful concept developed by Shirzad Chamine that focuses on improving your mental fitness. PQ?, measures the strength of your positive mental muscles (Sage) versus the negative (Saboteurs). By increasing your PQ?, you can achieve greater emotional resilience, happiness, and success.

Key Components:

Saboteurs:

These are the negative voices in your head that generate stress, anxiety, and self-doubt. There are 10 saboteurs in all.

Sage:

This represents your positive mental muscle. The Sage perspective involves empathy, exploration, innovation, navigation, and activation

Eating whole foods is one of the best ways to nourish your body and support your overall health. Whole foods are minimally processed and rich in nutrients, providing the energy and vitality needed for an active lifestyle.

  • Better Energy Levels: Nutrient-dense foods provide sustained energy throughout the day.
  • Weight Management: Whole foods can help you maintain a healthy weight.
  • Enhanced Immune Function: Nutrients in whole foods support a strong immune system.

Incorporating Whole Foods into Your Diet

  • Fruits and Vegetables: Aim to fill half your plate with a variety of colorful fruits and veggies at each meal.
  • Whole Grains: Choose whole grains like quinoa, brown rice, and oats over refined grains.
  • Lean Proteins: Include sources like beans, lentils, fish, and poultry.

Weekly Whole Food Recipe

Quinoa and Veggie Bowl

Ingredients:

1 cup cooked quinoa

1 cup chopped kale

1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup cucumber, diced

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

1 avocado, sliced

1/4 cup feta cheese (optional)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook quinoa according to package instructions and let it cool.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the kale, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and avocado.
  3. Add the cooked quinoa and mix well.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper.
  5. Sprinkle with feta cheese, if desired.
  6. Serve and enjoy a nutritious, delicious meal!
