As mentioned in two previous articles on gamification and wellness, there is new study out of University of South Australia that shows that gamified workplace wellness program led to significant increases in physical activity levels.
The study was conducted results from 11,575 participants, across 73 Australian, New Zealand, and UK companies. The study used a gamified wellness app called the “15 Minute Challenge.”

To improve the Current State of US Health, wellness programs are the most likely connection to activate Americans into making meaningful changes in their health. Apps like the "15 Minute Challenge" and others may be one solution among many.
