1.??????What is the state of people who are at the top?
Every few years, media reports, untimely and unfortunate demise of corporate head honchos, celebs and hi-profile individuals, almost invariably due to cardiac arrest or suicide. There could be many more, which either are not considered worth reporting or generally missed. On the whole, cases of untimely demise of people at the top is rapidly on the rise.
2.??????What fundamentally are the reasons for incidents happening with those at the top?
One often wonders, is there a correlation between the extent of responsibility one carries and their well-being? Is it true that those who are in positions of influence and responsibility are more prone to mortality due to sudden and / or chronic conditions / incidents? Despite, supposedly leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle?
Many ‘at the top’ – celebs, professionals, business owners, industrialists, entrepreneurs, CXOs or even a public-figures – are more often than not affected by a triple whammy:
1.???They are in a state of stress – could be mild to severe, acute to chronic – often not even aware that?they?are stressed.
2.???They are compelled, for having to maintain an image of reliability, to not express or display signs of stress – rather portray a picture of poise and ease. So much so, that they could have got alienated from and unaware of the true feeling which in all likelihood has gotten suppressed.
3.???They are going through what is termed as ‘social isolation’ - feelings of isolation and loneliness abound, not being able to bounce off the innermost ideas, inspirations and may be associated insecurities with most, by virtue of the position that is restraining and restrictive, to say the least.
From a psychotherapeutic point of view, the above emotional states are not discrete and compartmentalized. They are not only interweaved but along with bring further emotional and mental complexities like?anxiety, apathy, disappointment, dejection,?depression, despair, despondency, irritation, resentment, restlessness, fatigue, sleep disorders, guilt and shame. Allow such an intricate emotional mess to persist and soon they manifest as physical ailments / conditions most common amongst which cardio vascular diseases, hypertension and diabetes. Some, for whom, the pain of living in such conditions becomes more than the pain to bring an end to life, resort to self-destruction.
3.??????Is it not enough to follow a certain physical wellness regime to stay healthy?
Many would contend, claiming that they are taking care of their health with the likes of diet, workouts, yoga and meditation. Sure, they are. Partially. Quantum sciences view human existence as extending much beyond the physical body to embrace five layers of consciousness – the vital body, the mental body, the supramental body and the bliss body. Now consider this. Not all those who are at the top respond to stressors and isolation the same way. While some of them may feel burdened and fatigued, some others may feel resentful and apathetic while still others may completely avoid confronting the issue and take flight into a make-believe world of peace and happiness, often induced by addictions. Each of us, as individuals, react to situations differently because we are driven by certain conditionings that lurk in our unconscious. Herein lies the cause of all the maladies – be it mental, emotional or physical. Interventions at the level of physical body or even the vital body cannot completely heal such deep-seated issues. The mental and supramental body – that which holds thoughts, feelings and behaviours as also the sponsoring thoughts in the unconscious, which are nothing but the voice of our conditionings, need to be healed.
4.??????So, is there a way out? Besides doing regular work outs, yoga and meditation and being on a healthy diet?
Physical wellness is just helping to cope with stress and related challenges while one continues to sit on a time bomb of uncertain consequences.
There certainly is a way out. Here are a few recommendations which will stand in good stead, going forward.
First thing first. Get out of the mindset of fixing things. It may work well with in the professional world but won’t with complex humanistic intelligence and holistic well-being at the cellular level. One needs to consider the old adage – prevention is better than cure – and introduce certain elements as a way of life. Some of these are:
1.???One needs to get someone to accompany him / her in the professional journey. Someone who has walked the path not so treaded, that one is treading today, mired with risks and uncertainties and derived a world of wisdom from such experiences and is willing to walk along on the way to the seeking of one’s destiny.
Someone who could be a bouncing board, a mirror to help one see more clearly beyond the haze of impending worries and help clarify, confirm and affirm in moments of doubt and uncertainty. Someone who could help uphold and validate one’s instincts and strengthen one’s conviction in his / her personal beliefs.
Sounds like a life coach? Probably. A life coach who comes with commitment and compassion and a presence that itself is transformational and healing. One who is par excellence and proven to have pursued the purpose of king-making and not becoming a king himself. Not one who carries a long list of clients, made a glitzy brand of himself but in a reality is a mediocre me-too. Legitimizing his / her mediocrity with an array of certification.

2.???Besides this, one needs to proactively embrace a healing modality that can address the mental and supramental bodies. I am deliberately not using the word ‘therapy’ as probably, the word carries the connotation of something being not well, thus keeping one away from it.
5.??????How about allopathic medicines healing such conditions? Stress relievers, anti-depressants, tranquilizers and likes?
Allopathic medicines do not heal. At best they could ‘fix’ symptoms and manage the disease. Which may silently grow in severity under a false sense of well-being.
Besides, most such drugs have toxic after / side effects due to the chemicals used, which may complicate the healing process further.
Only alternative medicine that address and work on the higher bodies can heal. Their very approach is healing the individual holistically and not just focussed of fixing illness. Consider the likes of psychotherapy, hypnotherapy and?Bach Flower therapy?– all of which work on the mental and supramental bodies.
6.??????Why Bach Flower therapy, how is it more potent, effective, safe, and sustainable than other therapies for mental and physical health?
Bach Flower therapy stands out for the following five reasons:
????i.???????The remedies used do not have any chemicals. They are purely vibrational, carrying energetic imprints of the flowers they are derived from. Thus, the therapy is absolutely safe and without any side effects.
???ii.???????Needs minimal investment of time, effort and money. No long sessions, other than 30 to 60 mins of a consultation, maybe once a month.
?iii.???????There is no contamination. No material or individual is involved in the healing process. It’s the flowers that heal. Thus, eliminating possibility of any ‘shadow’ of the therapist unintentionally being cast on the patient.
??iv.???????As the remedies used are absolutely safe and without any side effects, the therapy is highly sustainable and can / must be made a way of life. They can be taken along with other medicines, both alternatives as well allopathic, without the efficacy being reduced.
???v.???????Bach Flower therapy is ideal for sustained wellness and can be taken proactively to prevent illness.
“Illness is solely and purely corrective; it is neither vindictive nor cruel, but is the means adopted by our own souls to point out to us our faults, to prevent our making greater errors, to hinder us from doing more harm, and to bring us back to that path of truth and light from which we should never have strayed.”
~ Dr. Edward Bach.
