The light shone bright off the river Mersey this week, as I explored Liverpool’s Albert Dock. The annual conference for the National Association for Managers of Student Services gave Jon and I an opportunity to catch up, go for a run, and even don our suits for the Gala Dinner.

A new UN-backed research study into the youth mental health has uncovered that life satisfaction and happiness has reduced dramatically for our young people - and follows a different pattern compared to previous generations. “The U-shape in wellbeing by age that used to exist in these countries is now gone, replaced by a crisis in wellbeing among the young.”


?? Our friends at The Happy Confident Company have released an awesome, five-day school wellbeing challenge. Focusing on five character skills across five days, this free toolkit uses journaling, affirmations, videos, and activities suitable for primary school children.
