Well golly gee gosh-surprise! And an Invitation

Well golly gee gosh. I completely forgot I had a newsletter as I have not written a piece for it for a considerable time. Like all of us, sometimes our full energies are required elsewhere. We all have changes in our lives and one thing years of production on set in the film industry has taught me, is how to pivot, and fast, as matters arise. It is also particular experience in my tool box that allows me to help others where I can in unique ways. I like to help others as much as I can. I am now finally finding some breathing space.

This photograph dates back to my time based in the White House. Yes, it is another election year, for better or worse and I often find America in a very odd state of affairs during election years. This may be one we all wish to escape! I know several have outreached to me seeking advice or commenting on the fact they may move overseas for a while. What are your thoughts about this wonderful country and the America as we live in it today? I know that California is a mess and at tipping point, the likes I have not seen before. It's housing market beyond absurd. Seeing California like this is heartbreaking.The strike did not help. I am truly excited though by a couple of fabulous projects I have including thrilled that an A listers has said YES to a female lead script written by an incredible new writer that I am directing! I am currently taking funding meetings and if interested or if you are a sales agent or distributor please outreach to me. It is an original comedy of the likes has not been seen!

Now back to speaking on California. Thank goodness so much can be achieved remotely these days. I am sick of the exorbitant housing prices so we are heading back to the East Coast this week, Miami it looks like. Miami also has a new entertainment and film incentive- USD$50 million . The thing is, I love the ocean and need a healthy dose of it right now. Any Miami connections here? I have also signed with a new talent and literary agent in New York who are strong on the East Coast, so it is a move that makes sense, though of course I work anywhere in USA and overseas. In truth my heart has also been in Europe however I have delayed that trip as it is important for me to visit New Zealand this year and long overdue.

On that note, I am excited and thrilled to have the opportunity to invite you all to come with me.
