Well done America - you stood up to the bully

You did it America (and World) you pushed back against the bully and he relented. Well done.

Although.... to hear him tell it (as usual) he was only acting that way because a bigger badder bully created the problem in the first place. So, with another trade marked Trump flourish and 'powerful' executive order he has single-handedly fixed everything! All hail the All American Hero!

Er... uh... hmm.... nope! Sorry Donald try again. What about the families that have already been separated? What about the cages? What about the overall ineffective process? That all still needs to be addressed - with wisdom and compassion - two things you sir (and your inner circle) seemingly do not possess.

That said, well done America for pulling together, raising your collective voice and saying "No! This will not stand!" If only you could garner a similar rally cry for gun control and environmental protection. But I suppose it's one battle at a time and perhaps with each small victory you will be increasingly empowered and realise that you can stand up to the bully and you don't have to watch your beautiful country repeat history (US history, not just mid-20th century European history), effectively burning itself to the ground.
